BOUQUETS TO ART 2009
March 17-21

Celebrating this year its 25th year! Stunning works by top floral designers fill the de Young Museum with spectacular floral tributes inspired by the works of art.
Bouquets to Art is the largest fundraiser held to benefit the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco plus one of the country’s premier floral events. Nearly 150 floral exhibitions are being displayed in the de Young’s galleries, the week-long event features six of the world’s most prestigious floral design experts, elegant lunches and teas, and a spectacular gala night. Organized and produced by the volunteer members of the San Francisco Auxiliary of the Fine Arts Museums, and with support by community donors and museum staff, Bouquets to Art raises funds for special exhibitions, acquisitions, and education programs.

Special Friday programming includes a lifestyle presentation by Miranda Jones, style editor for Sunset Magazine, and a lecture on flowers in film by noted critic/personality Jan Wahl.
