NAPA'S NEWEST FIRST GOLD LEED CERTIFIED WINERY!
Cade
360 Howell Mountain Road SouthAngwin , CA 94508
707-965-2746
Sometimes a glass of wine is all you need.
Other times, well, you want the whole damn vineyard.
And while there are hundreds of Napa Valley wineries that'll satisfy that urge, we've unearthed a brand-new one nestled up high in the Howell Mountain hillside that ought to be on the top of your must-visit list.
Welcome to Cade— Napa 's newest and California 's first gold LEED-certified winery and tasting room brought to you by the hotshot duo of billionaire Gordon Getty and Mayor Gavin Newsom, opening its doors Wednesday.
About five miles off the Silverado Trail and a few hairpin turns in, Cade will be your secluded mountaintop destination for Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet and Tahoe-esque views that rival the ones at the deck at Auberge du Soleil.
Start with a tour of the winery, which isn't just solar-powered but also insulated using old blue jeans (hopefully vintage denim…)—and when you enter the caves, you'll see more than a thousand barrels inspiring the winery's name—a Shakespearean term used for an oak barrel.
After walking through the cave's maze and back to the tasting room, you'll have the option of drinking while sitting by the waterfalls overlooking the valley in the summer, or fireside come winter.
Decisions, decisions…

SPRING CLEANING TIPS!
I've always felt that being organized and neat helps in every other aspect of my life. If my house is in shambles or my to-do list is multiple pages long, anxiety starts to kick in and everything else suffers as a result. If you're the same way, it might be time to get a head start on your Spring cleaning. I'm talking about getting your life in order so you can successfully put Winter behind you and move forward toward Spring! Check out my five tips.
Start by cleaning out your desk drawers and removing all the clutter from your counter tops. Throw away all that lose paperwork you don't need and start a new filing system to organize the things you do need. It's key for everything to have a home.
Get rid of all your old cosmetics, lotions, perfumes, and medications, as they all have expiration dates. To get ready for Spring, be sure to load up on allergy medication, sunscreen, conditioner, razors, and self tanner.
Its time to move your Winter or heavy clothes and put them in the back of your closet and drawers. Get ready also to swap into your less heavy comforter, sheets and blankets.
Go through your closet and make sure your Spring/Summer clothes don't need cleaning or alterations. If they do, take care of it now so you're ready for the warm weather when it arrives!
If you've been putting off repairs or repainting your bathroom, now's the time to do it. Ask your friends for help or just dedicate a day to tackle the chore yourself. Pump some tunes and reward yourself at the end of the day for a job well done!

WELCOME SPRING! TIME TO BE GREEN!
To keep this article light, I have six easy questions to ask if you are thinking in a house renovation, new home projects, re-decoraring or just simply painting your home for spring:
- Where did this material come from?
- What are the by-products of its manufacturing process?
- How is the material delivered and installed?
- How is the material maintained and operated?
- How healthy are the materials?
- Can these materials be recycled after I am finished with them?

Website: http://www.thetipsypigsf.com/
Pig out and get tipsy at this all-day, moderately priced Marina newcomer (run by the folks behind Blue Barn, Mamacita and Umami), a rustic English-style gastro tavern offering artisanal New American grub; as the name suggests, it’s positioning itself as a lively nightspot, but a separate kids' menu and a 50-seat garden patio aim to lure in families and day-trippers as well.
