Looking for a relaxing time over the weekend or some new excitement ...Its time to plan a visit to the wonderful and exclusive Bubble Room at J Vineyards. The plush reserve tasting salon features exquisite wine and food pairings crafted by the amazing Executive Chef Mark E. Caldwell.
The exclusive room opens only Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm - Please do not show without calling the winery for a reservation.
As a White Course We tasted a delicious Wild Mushroom Bisque, White Truffle Essence, Creme Fraiche & Chives paired with the exquisite 2006 J Chardonnay, Russian River Valley.
Thai-Style Dungeness Crab Cake, Asparagus-Coconut Puree, with the 2007 J Viognier, Hoot Owl Vineyard, Alexander Valley.
The Red Course was a Pan Seared Muscovy Duck Breast, Seasonal Vegetables, Bigarade Sauce, paired with the 2005 J Pinot Noir, Robert Thomas Vineyard (My absolutely favorite)
Poulet au Vin Rouge, Parsley Crepe, with a 2006 J Pinot Nor, Russian River Valley.

As Sparkling course we were served Braised Cardoons, Salsa Verde, Mache, Pecorino Romano paired with J Brut Rose NV, Russian River Valley.
Saint Andre, Cornmeal Madeleine, Local Honeycomb with 1998 J Vintage Brut, Late Disgorged, Russian River Valley.
At J Vineyards & Winery they understand that wine and food bring out the best in each other- and in the people who enjoy them together. They expertly pair J wines with Sonoma Country's finest abundance of fresh, locally grown produce and artisanal foods.
J is also available for intimate, corporate and private receptions. Service is impeccable and if you ask me which is the best day to go I will say Friday, the staff is totally relax, make you feel so comfortable and they can spend hours with you.
